Confluence Café is Lyle, Washington’s newest hot spot! Located at 34 State Street (SR-14), the café offers incredible views to take in while relaxing over coffee and locally supplied, homemade breakfast-style treats. Owners Matt Bynum and Ali Hamerstadt are long-time locals with a business plan that integrates Lyle into the Gorge’s greater business community by sourcing out their food and beverages. The Confluence Cafe promotes locally owned small businesses that produce specialty homemade foods, supporting and extending the Gorge’s food and beverage industry into Lyle by providing spectacular “front row” seating for locals and tourists.
The Confluence Café features pastries from White Salmon Baking and Edeske Patisserie, as well as savory choices with a selection of artisan toast, breakfast burritos and hot dogs, and veggie and sausage muffins.
Confluence Café is the perfect spot to gather with friends, or just watch the birds from one of the many tables with an incredible view!
Currently open every day from 8 am to 3pm, the cafe’s hours of operation will be extended beginning June 1, 2024 to:
Mondays thru Fridays from 7am – 3pm ; Saturdays & Sundays from 8am – 3pm
As first-time business owners, Matt and Ali qualified for MCEDD’s gap funding assistance that provided the working capital and funding to purchase equipment and furniture during the business start-up phase. More information on MCEDD’s lending rates, terms and requirements can be found here.
