MCEDD is organized as a government non-profit in Oregon as an ORS-190 and in Washington through RCW 39.34.010.

    Wasco County Transit Development Plan Proposals Are Open for Public Comment from March 28-April 8

    March 22, 2022 – Public Comment will be available both Online and In-Person! Our online open house format can be accessed via a website link that will be available through the Link’s webpage and Facebook page.   The open house site will include: all of the information compiled by the project. interactive maps that show the existing routes and proposed changes. a survey to provide feedback on the recommendations.   In addition, MCEDD will host a live,  in-person evening event for the public.   Maps that show existing routes and proposed changes will be displayed. The transportation experts who prepared the Plan will host a live zoom presentation to answer any questions.     2022 Annual Gorge Pass is Now Available!

    October 29, 2021 – Just $40 for Adults and $20 for Kids under 17, the new GOrgepass will be good for 14 months, ending December 31st, 2022. The GOrgepass offers a low cost and hassle-free commute alternative, saving vehicle operating costs and significantly lessening emissions. In addition to everyday commuting, the pass will also take you to trails, pubs, events, skiing, museums, ice cream, parks, waterfronts, main streets and all things National Scenic Area! Each pass purchase also contributes to a special Equity Fund set up to donate to Gorge area Search and Rescue organizations, outdoor equity organizations, and providing free passes to the low-income and underserved populations in our community.
