January 24, 2018 – The Port of Hood River is taking a deep dive into options for replacing the Hood River White-Salmon Interstate Bridge. The Bridge was the #1 regional strategy priority in 2017/8 to secure the resources for permitting, environmental review and feasibility analysis. July 11, 2017 – The recently passed $5.3B Oregon transportation bill includes not only critical funding for city and county road, but also individual projects from the MCEDD region (including top priorities from our regional economic development strategy). Projects which were elevated for funding within the transportation package include:
