Text Box: Although median family income in Oregon, Washington, and to a lesser extent the MCEDD region, all improved in the 1990s, relative to that of the US, this growth was not shared equally among the five counties that comprise the Mid-Columbia.  Washington Counties saw the greatest improvements, while Wasco and Sherman Counties in Oregon actually saw a decline, relative to the National average.
