Investors give Oregon Raceway the GREEN Flag
The Oregon Raceway Park in Grass Valley has been funded. Phase one design is complete and ground work is scheduled to begin in June. Amenities will be scarce in the beginning but in the interest of moving this project forward it was decided that getting asphalt on the ground was a number one priority. ORP will be operational by 2009.
Local SBDC "Oregon State Star"
Mary Merrill, Director of the Small Business Development Center at Columbia Gorge Community College has been asked to represent the State of Oregon SBDC Network at the National Association of Small Business Development Centers in Chicago, Illinois, as the "Oregon State Star", on September 3,4,5, 2008.

State stars are individuals and groups that represent the SBDC by demonstrating outstanding performance throughout 2007.
