Training Schedule

The program will happen over a seven month period from January to July 2012.  Each day will include both the training session and a site visit to one of our region’s growing businesses and clusters.   In general, the training sessions will occur  from 9am to 1pm.

The seven sessions include:

• Session 1: Introduction to Stronger Economies Together and Regional Economics 101 at the Civic Auditorium in The Dalles, Wasco County (1/12/12)

• Session 2: Exploring Regional Assets and Challenges at The Dalles Fruit Company in Dallesport, Klickitat County (2/9/12)

• Session 3: Examining Current Demographic Features in Moro, Sherman County (3/8/12)

• Session 4: Your Regional Vision and Goals in Skamania County (4/26/12)

• Session 5: Exploring the Region’s Economic Foundation and Development Opportunities in Cascade Locks, Hood River County (5/10/12)

• Session 6: Planning for Success in Hood River, Hood River County (6/28/12)

• Session 7: Measuring Success in White Salmon/Bingen, Klickitat County (7/26/12)
