Impact

The Oregon Investment Board has a proven track record for job creation and investments that result in long-term economic impact. Project funding helps to strengthen and diversify the economy of the region.

Sustained Impact.
To date, the Oregon Investment Board has received four appropriations totaling $4,001,750. The OIB has approved grants and loans (by utilizing revolved funds) totaling more than $8.2 million.

Public and Private Leveraging.
The Oregon Investment Board has leveraged over $14.4 million private and more than $13.3 million in public funds.

Job Creation/Retention.
Funds are provided through grants and loans to support infrastructure, business assistance, and workforce development to support job creation and retention. The OIB has provided funding to projects to directly create or retain nearly 600 jobs. The number of jobs created will continue to increase as the funds are revolved into new grants and loans.
